A Few Good Quotes

"There is something so settled and stodgy about turning a great romance into next of kin on an emergency room form, and something so soothing and special, too." ~ Anna Quindlen

"Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, 'I will try again tomorrow.'" ~Mary Anne Radmacher

A Little of This, A Little of That

Life is good. I think and say that so many times each week. I know it may not always be that way, but today, it is. I'm thankful. I'm enjoying the kids so much and I'm loving where we live and the people we get to spend so much time with. Here's a little of what we've been up to...

Going to the Aquarium with cousins - last week we took Sammy and today we took Levi (sadly, no photo of today). Ruthie loved it, as did her cousins.
We started bathing the kids together and man, oh, man is it cute. Ruthie loves to help wash Jonah; he's not as big of a fan of that as she is. But he does love his bath and Daddy loves to giving them, especially now that he gets to do two at one time!

We've been going to Disneyland a lot, enjoying the nice spring weather. This past Friday afternoon/night, we went with Mom, Dad, Mary, Mike and their kids. It was great. Ruthie, Clare and Abbie all have the same Cinderella shirt, given by Grandma (Hannah and Naomi have it too, but they don't currently have passes - boo!). Mary and I try to coordinate it so the girls wear them on the same trips and let me tell you, they get a lot of attention! Clare and Ruthie are particularly awesome together, following each other around and laughing at their own jokes. Such cute little besties. In this photo, they had laid down the Disneyland map to get a better look at it, while we were in line at Pirates of the Caribbean. Too cute!

Jonah is really starting to develop his personality, which is so fun. Here's Daddy and Jonah, goofing off!
This is one of my favorite stages - discovering the baby in the mirror. Jonah was quite taken with him today, kissing him, waving to him and then looking past him at me in the mirror. It was great! Love that guy.

Ruthie is so spoiled. How many kids get to go to Disneyland once week, let alone with both Grandma and Grandpa there to hold your hand and buy you treats? Good thing there are so many cousins or we would be in big trouble!

So that's been our lives (or a small snapshot, at least) in the past few weeks. Hope your March has been lovely as well!
