A Few Good Quotes

"There is something so settled and stodgy about turning a great romance into next of kin on an emergency room form, and something so soothing and special, too." ~ Anna Quindlen

"Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, 'I will try again tomorrow.'" ~Mary Anne Radmacher

At Home Date Night!

I'm pretty sure I've posted on this before but at home date night is my second favorite night of the month (regular date night being the first) so it's worth re-mentioning. Since it's not realistic to go out twice a month, we instituted a stay at home date night where we feed the kids something easy for dinner and then enjoy cheese, crackers and salami just the two of us after they are in bed. We also each try to plan one romantic thing for the other person. We're keeping the romance alive, people!

It's lovely and relaxing and romantic and we give it two thumbs way up!

Here's a little photo of our spread from our date night in January:

A Glimpse Into Isaiah

Isaiah is an awesome toddler. He is almost always happy, a really good eater, a fantastic night time sleeper (and not too shabby at naps) and so. stinking. cute. We all adore him - his siblings love him (a little too aggressively) and Ian and I frequently comment about how adorable he is. He is pretty much our favorite thing to watch.

Anyway, enough of my very biased musings. You can take a look for yourself at our little I-Man!

We love this guy!
